Chatroom – The Last Night

Hi Ladies! I hope you’re all doing well. I apologize about last week–between the holiday and traveling to another time zone I completely messed up. I wanted to have a short chat tonight. I’m not sure if anyone will be able to get on, but if you’re here, I just want to tell you how much you’ve encouraged me over the last quarter! I have so enjoyed getting to hear your about your thoughts and studies, and have been impressed with your knowledge and willingness to learn! I hope this study has encouraged you to know the Lord, to have a relationship with Him, and reflect Him to others. I love you girls!

I’ll be on for the next while in case you have any questions or thoughts. If you have any comments, or ways in which I can improve the next study, let me know.

Also, the winner of our last contest was Isabella Mason–congratulations!! I wanted to share her poem with you, because it so aptly sums up our last section.

This Savior of mine did make me and mold me; He wants me as His, to keep me and hold me. All I have to do is love Him and keep
The commandments he gave to all of His sheep.

This Savior of mine did come to this earth,
And left His perfect home of splendor and mirth. He told the people the way to life,
But they rejected His words and gave Him much strife.

My Savior’s own people did put him on the cross,
But what they did not realize was that it was their own loss. He died a cruel death all because of my sin,
So that some sweet day I will live with Him!

For me, has my Savior prepared a home, Where forever with Him, will I roam. This Savior of mine will one day come back, So I must be ready and gain what I lack.

  1. I’m so glad Lindsey, you’ve been such a joy to talk with! Do you have any ideas for future areas of study, or any suggestions?

    1. um… wow, caught me off guard lol. I don’t know, I mean if you were gonna do like a second study to this one for teens, then I think it’d be awesome to like purity or prayer or something like that just because it’d be cool to have a group of Christians who could talk about like some of the issues teens have. that’s all I can come up with on the spot lol, sorry

      1. Oh no pressure at all! I just want to hear what is pertinent to you <3 Those are great ideas. Thank you for sharing! If you think of anything else, feel free to share.

          1. I’m definitely going to do another study book, I’ve already started the second. I’ll do the chatroom, too, if ya’ll want to do it again!

    1. I’m so glad Isabella, I have enjoyed getting to know you through the chat! What ideas do you have for the future? Any areas of study or ideas to share?

      1. Well I’m sure whatever you would do would be great! But it would be cool to do something along the lines of dating, modesty, how to stand up to peer pressure ,etc. Things a Christian girl needs to know… hope this is alright πŸ™‚

        1. Great ideas! These are definitely topics I will make sure to touch on throughout all of the studies, thank you so much for telling me what is relevant! Have you read Pure on Purpose? It’s written by Cindy Colley and Hannah Giselbach, and covers many of these topics in-depth.

          1. I have not read it yet but I am getting to it; I did read the Girl to Girl book which was co-wrote with Mrs. Hannah Giselbach πŸ™‚ and I liked it alot πŸ™‚

      1. Yes I do I think maybe about relationships about our future husband would be good to know . How we should to choose . My mom has done things with my family about it , but a young girls book would be good to do . Just a thought ~ Ellie

        1. Interesting! Relationships in general would be great, and an area focusing on dating/courting to choose a spouse is a great idea!

          1. I only thought of it because I love the classes at polishing the pulpit that talk on that subject . ~ Ellie

  2. I’m going to miss chatting with you girls! Stay in touch, and please let me know if there’s ever anything I can do for you. Again, this has been the highlight of the last few months.
